The Wolfpack Club was co-founded in 2008 by Jack Crawford, head varsity lacrosse coach at Loyola Blakefield, and Haswell Franklin, Jr., former head varsity lacrosse coach at Archbishop Spalding High School and former assistant coach for the Canadian National Team. Wingate Pritchett (MD '82) and Mike Donnelly (Hopkins '82) were also members of the coaching staff and both have entensive experience coaching in the MIAA "A" Conference. Pat Tracy, assistant coach at UMBC is the head coach of the U16 team.
The club looks to provide a structured environment in which youth and high school lacrosse players will learn to develop their lacrosse skills. Both individual and team concepts will be cultivated and fostered while honoring the game of lacrosse with good sportsmanship and the enjoyment from participation. The primary focus of the coaching staff will be on teaching lacrosse fundamentals and building a "positive sports culture" that will have a lasting impact. We value the experience of every child with an emphasis upon fun, teamwork, sportsmanship and personal effort.
For 2010, Wolfpack plans to field teams at both the "A" and "B" levels in U11, U13, U15 and U16. Tryouts begin in October of 2009.
