The Wolfpack Club was co-founded in 2008 by Jack Crawford, head varsity lacrosse coach at Loyola Blakefield, and Haswell Franklin, Jr., former head varsity lacrosse coach at Archbishop Spalding High School and assistant coach for the Canadian National Team. Wingate Pritchett (MD '82) and Mike Donnelly (Hopkins '82) have agreed to coach this summer and both men have coached in the MIAA "A" Conference.
The year the club intends to field teams at the U11, U13, U15 level and the club has also announced the addition of Patrick Tracey, current assistant coach at UMBC to the position of head coach for the clubs new U16 class of 2012 team.
The intent is to provide a structured environment in which lacrosse players will learn to develop their lacrosse skills. Both individual and team concepts will be cultivated and fostered while honoring the game of lacrosse with good sportsmanship and the enjoyment from participation. The primary focus of the coaching staff will be on teaching lacrosse fundamentals and building a "positive sports culture" that will have a lasting impact. We value the experience of every child with an emphasis upon fun, teamwork, sportsmanship and personal effort.
