The Club is excited to announce the addition of Patrick Tracy to run and coach the High School Team. Pat is the 1st Assistant Coach/Defensive Coordinator at UMBC. He is responsible for all on field coaching of the defensive personnel as well as implementing and designing game plans and scouting reports. Prior to UMBC, Pat spent the 2006-2007 season as an assistant coach at Dartmouth College where he worked with the goalkeepers and the offense, broke down and analyzed all opponent game film, recruited prospective student-athletes and assisted with all other aspects of the Big Green program.
UMBC finished the 2008 season with a record of 13-4 and ranked number 6th in the country. The Retrievers won the America East Championship and advanced to the 1st Round of the NCAA tournament for the 3rd consecutive year.
Jack Crawford, Head Coach Loyola High School - Blakefield, will again run the Youth Division for the club.
The club will emphasize teaching proper lacrosse skills at all ages and a positive environment for playing lacrosse. The tryouts for the teams will start in Jan.' 09 @ Baltimore Lutheran High School.
